Jeonju Hanok Village is located in Jeonju, where there are over 700 traditional Korean hanok houses. Hanok Village retains its historical charm and traditions.
Jeonju Hanok Village is especially beautiful for its unique roof edges, which are slightly raised to the sky. Hanok houses are generally divided into two sections, Anchae and Sarangchae. Sarangchae is where the men dwell. Anchae , for the women, is situated deep inside the house so that it is secretive and quiet.
Traditional crafts such as Hanji and fan making are on display in the village.The food is very traditional, adding to the ambience. Visitors can sample traditional foods like bibimbap, Omogari-tang, and soybean soup.
